IT Administrator

PluginZ Solutions is hiring an IT Administrator to run day-to-day IT operations for our office in Maadi and for our managed IT support customers. You will keep our users, devices, network and Microsoft 365 environment running smoothly, and you will be the first line of technical support for customers who rely on PluginZ for their IT. Key responsibilities: - Install, configure and maintain Windows servers, workstations, laptops and printers. - Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Active Directory / Entra ID: user accounts, groups, licences, security policies. - Manage the office network: routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN and internet lines. - Provide first and second line support to internal staff and to customers, on site and remotely, through our ticketing system within agreed SLAs. - Run backups, monitor systems, apply patches and keep antivirus and endpoint protection up to date. - Set up new joiners and offboard leavers: accounts, devices, access and asset records. - Keep the IT asset inventory, licence records and technical documentation accurate. - Support cybersecurity basics: MFA, password policies, email security and user awareness. - Work with vendors and ISPs on repairs, purchases and escalations. - Take part in customer projects such as migrations, office setups and infrastructure upgrades. Location: Maadi, Cairo (on-site, with visits to customer sites when needed). Employment type: Full-time.

2 to 5 years of hands-on experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator or IT Support Engineer Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Windows 10/11 Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, firewalls Experience with backup tools, endpoint protection and patch management Able to troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues quickly and calmly Good written and spoken English, and Arabic Customer-facing attitude and clear communication with non-technical users Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field Nice to have: Microsoft certifications (MS-102, AZ-104, MD-102), CCNA, experience with an MSP or IT services company, virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), basic PowerShell scripting
