Who this covers
This policy explains how the PluginZ HR employee application (the "app"), operated by PluginZ Solutions, handles your information. The app is the employee self-service companion to the Ops360 platform: you use it to check in and out for attendance, request leave, and view your payslips.
What we collect
- Account information - your name, work email, job title, department and the company you belong to, so we can show you the right records.
- Attendance data - your check-in and check-out times and the resulting worked, late and overtime totals.
- Location at check-in - when you tap check in or check out, the app reads your device GPS position ONCE, at that moment, to confirm you are within your workplace area (geofencing). We store the coordinates of that single punch for attendance verification.
- Leave and payroll records - your leave balances and requests, and your payslips, which are created by your employer.
How we use your location
Location is used only to verify attendance. It is read only while the app is open, and only at the exact moment you check in or check out. The app does not track your location in the background, does not follow your movements between punches, and never sells or shares your location with third parties. If your employer marks your role as free-sign, the location check is skipped entirely.
How your data is stored and shared
Your data is stored securely on our infrastructure and is scoped to your company. Only your employer's authorized HR and administrator staff can see your HR records, in line with their role. We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the platform (such as our hosting and database providers) under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.
Data retention
We keep your attendance, leave and payroll records for as long as your employer's account is active and as required for their legal and accounting obligations. When a record is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data. Because your employer controls your HR records, please contact your HR department first; you may also contact us using the details below and we will help coordinate the request.
Permissions the app requests
- Location - to confirm you are at your workplace when you check in or out. Foreground only.
- Notifications (optional) - to alert you about approvals and reminders.
